Syndicate Bank conducted the online examination for recruiting candidates for the PGDBF programme to be held at Manipal Global Education Service Pvt. Ltd. and Nitte Education International Pvt. Limited, on 26 February 2017. The candidates will be given intensive training for 1 year at these educational institutions and after that these candidates will be given job at various branches of the bank. The total student intake for the course is 400. Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test followed by group discussion and interview.
Syndicate Bank PGDBF Course: Overall Exam Review
The examination was conducted by IBPS in selected centres across the country. The overall level of the exam can be termed only moderate though most of the sections were easy as compared to the recent banking examinations conducted by IBPS. The exam pattern is as follows:

Quantitative Aptitude
Though this section was easy but the questions were calculative. You had to be on your best calculative ability in order to score well in this section. English Language
It was a welcome relief for the candidates because the English section was not even close to the horror as most of them had faced during SBI PO 2016 and IBPS PO 2016. This section was moderate .The details of the pattern of questions asked are as follows:

General Awareness
This section can be termed as moderate. Most of the questions asked were from the current affairs section in the recent months. If you have mugged up the details of the awards, summits, applications launched etc, this section is going to be a cakewalk for you. This is why, the expected cut-off is going to soar in this section:
